Three muggers in Australia got the fright of their lives when their attack was interrupted by five black-clad ninja warriors.
The thieves were assaulting a German medical exchange student in Sydney, but the alleyway where they struck was next to a school for ninja warriors.
One of the pupils raised the alarm after noticing the attack.
Police say they have arrested two men and charged them with robbery, and are still looking for a third suspect.
“We just ran outside and started running at them, yelling and everything,” said ninja master Kaylan Soto who instructed his students to take action.
“These guys have turned around and seen five ninjas in black ninja uniforms running towards them. They just bolted.”
The victim suffered minor injuries, and the men stole his mobile phone and iPod, according to police.
Mr Soto said the man could have escaped the assault with some training in ninjitsu – a Japanese martial art. As for the attackers, “They just picked the wrong spot,” he added.

AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY
IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY (’TRY’, BEING THE KEY WORD) TO ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY.

Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins :

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer
Cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have
Multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients
That there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after
Treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the
Cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable
Size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a
person’s lifetime.

3. When the person’s immune system is strong the cancer
Cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and
Forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has
Nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic,
To environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing
Diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune
System.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing
Cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells
In the bone marrow, gastrointestinal tract etc, and can
Cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars
And damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often
Reduce tumor size.. However prolonged use of
Chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor
Destruction.

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from
Chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either
Compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb
To various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to
Mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy.
Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other
Sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer
Cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.

*CANCER CELLS FEED ON:

A. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off
One important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar
Substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made
With Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute
Would be Manuka honey or molasses, but only in very small
Amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in
Color. Better alternative is Bragg’s aminos or sea salt.

B. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the
Gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting
Off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk cancer
Cells are being starved.

C. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based
Diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken
Rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock
Antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all
Harmful, especially to people with cancer..

D. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole
Grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into
An alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked
Food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live
Enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to
Cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance
Growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building
Healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most
Vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw
Vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at
Temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

E. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high
Caffeine Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer
Fighting properties. Water- best to drink purified water, or
Filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap
Water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12.. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of
Digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the
Intestines becomes putrefied and leads to more toxic
Buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By
Refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes
To attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the
body’s killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system
(IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals,
EFAs etc.) to enable the bodies own killer cells to destroy
Cancer cells.. Other supplements like vitamin E are known
to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body’s
normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or
unneeded cells.

15.. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit.
A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior
be a survivor. Anger, un-forgiveness and bitterness put
the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to
have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy
life..

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated
environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to
get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen
therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer
cells..

1. No plastic containers in micro.

2. No water bottles in freezer.

3. No plastic wrap in microwave..

Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well. Dioxin chemicals cause cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don’t freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital, was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So
such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn’t bad but you don’t know what is in the paper. It’s just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.

Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

This is an article that should be sent to anyone important in your life

An article in the journal of BioMed Central has concluded that older people with osteoporosis can benefit from training in martial arts. In other words, learning to fall properly will likely help people to avoid bone breaks, as the study revealed that martial arts training could reduce hip impact forces.
Can’t say that’s earth shattering.
Osteoporosis results in more than 200,000 fractures each year in the UK. Sixty thousand of these occur in the hip. So the bottom line? Researchers from the Institute for Fundamental and Clinical Human Movement Sciences, Vrije University, Amsterdam and Sint Maartenskliniek, Nijmegen have figured out something that seems pretty consistent with common sense (which I guess is a good thing).
If you’re interested, some of the arts that focus a lot on falling include judo, aikido, kung fu (some schools), and hapkido. That said, I’ve never been around a martial art that didn’t at least teach falling, so it’s a rarity that you would find a style that didn’t touch on the topic to an extent.

For most of his life, Napoleon Hill lived with the conviction that every failure carried with it the seed of equivalent advantage. Here are his 17 principles for extraordinary achievement.
Lesson 1: Definiteness of Purpose
Definiteness of purpose is the starting point of all achievement. Without a purpose and a plan, people drift aimlessly through life.
Lesson 2: Mastermind Alliance
The Mastermind principle consists of an alliance of two or more minds working in perfect harmony for the attainment of a common definite objective. Success does not come without the cooperation of others.
Lesson 3: Applied Faith
Faith is a state of mind through which your aims, desires, plans and purposes may be translated into their physical or financial equivalent.
Lesson 4: Going the Extra Mile
Going the extra mile is the action of rendering more and better service than that for which you are presently paid. When you go the extra mile, the Law of Compensation comes into play.
Lesson 5: Pleasing Personality
Personality is the sum total of one’s mental, spiritual and physical traits and habits that distinguish one from all others. It is the factor that determines whether one is liked or disliked by others.
Lesson 6: Personal Initiative
Personal initiative is the power that inspires the completion of that which one begins. It is the power that starts all action. No person is free until he learns to do his own thinking and gains the courage to act on his own.
Lesson 7: Positive Mental Attitude
Positive mental attitude is the right mental attitude in all circumstances. Success attracts more success while failure attracts more failure.
Lesson 8: Enthusiasm
Enthusiasm is faith in action. It is the intense emotion known as burning desire. It comes from within, although it radiates outwardly in the expression of one’s voice and countenance.
Lesson 9: Self-Discipline
Self-discipline begins with the mastery of thought. If you do not control your thoughts, you cannot control your needs. Self-discipline calls for a balancing of the emotions of your heart with the reasoning faculty of your head.
Lesson 10: Accurate Thinking
The power of thought is the most dangerous or the most beneficial power available to man, depending on how it is used.
Lesson 11: Controlled Attention
Controlled attention leads to mastery in any type of human endeavor, because it enables one to focus the powers of his mind upon the attainment of a definite objective and to keep it so directed at will.
Lesson 12: Teamwork
Teamwork is harmonious cooperation that is willing, voluntary and free. Whenever the spirit of teamwork is the dominating influence in business or industry, success is inevitable. Harmonious cooperation is a priceless asset that you can acquire in proportion to your giving.
Lesson 13: Adversity & Defeat
Individual success usually is in exact proportion of the scope of the defeat the individual has experienced and mastered. Many so-called failures represent only a temporary defeat that may prove to be a blessing in disguise.
Lesson 14: Creative Vision
Creative vision is developed by the free and fearless use of one’s imagination. It is not a miraculous quality with which one is gifted or is not gifted at birth.
Lesson 15: Health
Sound health begins with a sound health consciousness, just as financial success begins with a prosperity consciousness.
Lesson 16: Budgeting Time & Money
Time and money are precious resources, and few people striving for success ever believe they possess either one in excess.
Lesson 17: Habits
Developing and establishing positive habits leads to peace of mind, health and financial security. You are where you are because of your established habits and thoughts and deeds.

I will Put the Law of Pure Potentiality into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

1. I will get in touch with the field of pure potentiality by taking time eachday to be silent, to sit just BE. I will also sit alone in silent meditation at least twice a day. In the morning and in the evening.

2. I will take time each day to commune with nature and to silently witness the intelligence within every living thing. I will sit silently andand watch a sunset, or listen to the sound of a stream, or simply smell the scent of a flower. In the ecstacy of my own silence, and by communing with nature, I will enjoy the life throb of ages, the field of pure potentiality and unbound creativity.

3.I will practice non-judgment. I will begin my day with the statement,”Today I shall Judge nothing that occurs,” and thruoghout the day I will remind myself not to judge.

Summer is coming and here are some ideas on how to…
Protect Your Children

What could be more important than the safety of our children? To protect your child, think of the outside world as a jungle and your child as prey. The predator will be looking for the young and unattended! Here are some basic tips for us as parents to be more aware of:

1. Make sure your child knows his or her phone number and address and are able to write it.
2. Never…ever…did I mention the word never…leave your child in a car alone. Would you leave $5000 in a bag on your seat while you run into a store to get something? How much is your child worth? Priceless? Exactly!
3. If your child is left at home they should never open the door…or be allowed to do it even when you are home. They will do what they are used to. This also applies to the phone. A predator can find out who is home and when very easily.
4. Never allow your child to go alone to public restroom without an adult. Don’t be lazy with your child’s safety and innocence!
5. Don’t think giving your child a cell phone will protect them. Cell phones are nothing more than communicators…they are not weapons that will help in abductions or being molested.
6. Is your child eating healthy? It is your responsibility as a parent to provide proper nutrition for your child. If I bought you the car of your dreams, wouldn’t you put best gas in it?
7. Take stock of your child…are they overweight? Take this seriously. Again, it is your obligation as a parent to make sure proper nutrition and exercise are maintained. This is not a vanity issue, but a health issue.
Here’s the tough one…are you, as a parent, the role model that you want your child to become like? They will do what they see as examples, not what you say.
In the final analysis, it is not what you do for you children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves that will make them safe and successful human beings.

Beware! There is a thief neat you! And that thief is not after your money or your VCR. This thief is after something far more valuable.

The ‘thief’ is after the self-esteem of your most precious possession…your child.
My friends, we live in a largely negative world. And unless you are vigilant, that negativity ill steal the self-esteem of your own son or daughter.
Protecting the self-esteem of your child is an ongoing, never-ending task. The responsibility falls to you. If you do not undertake this urgent responsibility, who will?
PMA’s instructors use a 10-step approach that develops and protects self-esteem. You can use these strategies too!

1. Always remind your child of their past victories and accomplishments. Let their self-image be built upon a recollection of past successes. Let the memory of failures and disappointments fade away.

2. Help your child strive for improvement…not perfection. Help them to create reasonable expectations for performance.

3. Develop a family heritage. Teach your child to be proud of your family. Tell them about the achievements and sacrifices of their parents, grandparents, and other relatives.

4. Do provide feedback; do not be overly critical. If you do have to give negative feedback, especially to an older child, always criticize privately; on the other hand, always praise publicly!

5. Teach him or her the value of telling the truth. Lying steals self-esteem!

6. Appearance counts. Guide your child into taking pride in their appearance.

7. Try to guide him or her toward friends who have high self-esteem. Help your child avoid negative people.

8. Paint the big picture with your child. Help them to dream big dreams about their future.

9. Be healthy. Exercise regularly; eat a balanced diet.

10. Become an expert! Pick a couple of activities that are important to your child and help him to MASTER them. DO not allow them to flit from activity to activity.
